Bettering Our Businesses
We have many interesting seminars on dozens of helpful business topics. We also offer monthly appointments with S.C.O.R.E. for new and expanding businesses.

Connections
Being a member of the Chamber gives you the opportunity to network and meet other business owners, organizations and community leaders. When you participate in the Chamber, you make connections that matter, to your own business and to the Island. We meeting monthly for mixers or meetings.  Check our "Events" page for locations, dates and times.

Off-Island promotion
One of our goals is to help people find Vashon so they can purchase your art, patronize your business and frequent your events. We do this through off-island promotions and partnerships with other area Chambers. We also maintain this website, giving you a worldwide presence.

Celebrating the Island, Chamber style!
The Chamber runs the Strawberry Festival, Trick or Treat Night in Town, and the traditional Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting. We also partner with other organizations to bring you the Bunny and Bonnet Parade at Spring Fling. Check out our "Events" page for Lodging Tour information, Farm Tour information and other exciting Island events.  Our hands and hearts are in everything — and these events bring people in our community together.

As a member, we give you access to fax capabilities, a QuickBooks tutorial library and conference meeting space.

Going Deeper
This Chamber is also focused on issues of magnitude that need further discussion and exploration. We play an active role in this community in relationships with King County and state officials.  The Chamber is a powerful and effective voice on behalf of our Island community. 

NEW FORMAT FOR GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS

On the third Thursday of even-numbered months we have a business-style General Membership meeting.  This format was adopted based on requests by the membership.  Please note each meeting starts at 8:30 AM and the first half hour is all about meeting each other and learning about our businesses. The next hour includes speakers and announcements on activities on the Island both involving the Chamber and involving you. Remember to bring your business cards. General Membership meetings are open to all businesses on the Island. Chamber membership is not required.  Please click here to view the Agenda.
